For sale is a Rolex GMT Master ‘Pepsi’ Ref. 16700 from 1993.
Included with the watch is the Original Rolex Box, Manual, Red Swing Tag and Rolex Service Card from 2017.
The watch also comes with an additional Black Bezel Insert allowing you to alternate between the ‘Pepsi’ insert and the All-Black insert.
The 16700 features a 40mm stainless steel oyster case design known for its durability and water resistance. Fitted to the case is an Oyster Bracelet know for its sporty and robust build. Both the case and the bracelet are in great condition.
The most notable feature on the 16700 is the GMT function which allows you to track a second time zone by configuring the Red hand to another hour on the rotating 24-hour bezel. The Blue & Red coloured bezel has lead to this watch being more commonly referred to as the ‘Pepsi’ for obvious reasons.
The 16700 is powered by the Rolex Caliber 3175 movement, which is an automatic movement and Includes a quickset date function.
The GMT-Master II 16700 is highly collectible due to its classic design, versatile functionality, and the fact that it bridges the gap between earlier and newer GMT-Master II models.
