For sale is a Vintage Rolex Day-Date 36mm Ref. 18038 from 1986 with a Rare & Collectible Oxblood Stella Diamond Dial.

The Day-Date 18038 is a classic and highly regarded model of the Day-Date series, often called the "President" due to its association with influential figures and leaders.

This example is especially unique and highly collectible due to the Rare Oxblood Stella Dial. Stella dials get their name from the Swiss Brand ‘Stella’ who were commissioned by Rolex to produce dials throughout the 70s and the 80s. Stella manufacturered these dials with a special lacquer. The term ‘Oxblood’ refers to the deep, dark red hue of the dial, which resembles the color of oxblood leather. This color is both striking and rare, adding to the dial's desirability among collectors. The dial is decorated with 8 Brilliant Cut Diamond Hour Markers and and Baguette Diamonds at 6 & 9 O’clock. The scarcity of the Oxblood Dial combined with its unique color makes it highly sought after in the vintage watch market.
