For sale is a Rare Audemars Piguet Cobra Ref. 5403BA in Solid 18k Yellow Gold with a Factory Linen Diamond Dial and Integrated ‘Cobra’ Bracelet.
The unique pattern on the case and bracelet is designed to resemble the skin of a Cobra, hence the name.
Dated back to the 70s/80s, a time when smaller watches were more fashionable, the 5403BA was considered as a large watch with its 35mm case size, this would be especially true as it wears more like a 38mm due to its oval shape case and integrated bracelet.
This example features a unique linen pattern on the dial and diamond hour markers for an ostentatious look.
The integrated bracelet is suitable for a wrist size of up to 17.5cm and features a two-tier micro adjustment on the clasp allowing you to size according to your comfort.
The watch is powered by an automatic movement which is fully working and keeping good time.
The caseback has the initials F.O.A engraved which coincide with the name on the purchase receipt acompanied with the watch. We have decided to leave the engraving so as to preserve the history but this can be taken out at the request of the buyer.
